Quality Inspection is perhaps the single most important activity in Quality Control and if perform well, will offer a vast source of information that greatly helps in quality and productivity improvement efforts. Therefore an efficient and effective quality inspection system will reduce risks and total cost to conform to the operational and customer quality requirements.
The Quality Inspection Management module provides all the features need to plan, execute, record and track all quality inspection perform by an organization. User can easily manage their Initial part inspections, in-coming inspections, in-process inspection, out-going inspections or other ad-hoc inspections with this flexible and simple to learn module. It consists of master specification setup, for definition of each product specification. With that, user can proceed to define the inspection requirement at every stage of inspection processes. These include sampling frequency, no. samples or subgroup size, inspection work procedure, sketches or drawings and other relevant information.
Inspection management module support both attribute as well as variable data collection. It also enables multiple inspection plans to be created for a product and process and having those plans data combined for SPC. For example, a pre-production validation inspection plan can be created for validating a process before the production of a product. Then, another plan can be created for in-process inspection for collecting data during production. This plan may only include the subset of characteristics used in pre-production validation inspection plan. Selected characteristics data for both plans can be included for SPC analysis.
Furthermore, Inspection management allows the use of barcode to track inspection sample within the QC lab to easily transfer, track and recall inspection data from the system.
