SPC Process Control

The SPC (Statistical Process Control) Module consists of functionalities that enable Production and QC personnel in implementing online and real-time SPC throughout all stages of Quality Control i.e Incoming, In-process and Outgoing and in each stage, it allows the users to zoom into each process and each machine. In addition, the SPC Module is web-based and therefore can be easily implemented to monitor multiple plants that are geographically separated.

The functionalities include :

• Automatic judgment of inspection results. The software automatically judges an inspection results such as pass,
• Fail or out-of-control based on the product specifications or SPC rules applied.
• Online feedbacks of inspection results to production.
• Close loop handling of out-of-control incidents

First of all, the system will highlight those measurement results which are out-of- specification or out-of-control (OOC) to QC personnel who is checking a product.
Once the OOC incident is confirmed, the system automatically issues OOC alerts to production and sends email notification to the relevant engineer and QC manager for each confirmed OOC incident.
The system enables production personnel to view the details of the OOC incidents, including SPC charts and OOC details.
The production personnel then needs to acknowledge the incident and subsequently updates their findings on the causes and actions taken to close the case.
